Kai Williams, PT, DPT, Dept. of Research and Development

Kai was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Dr. Williams attended Louisiana Tech University, where she achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. She later attended the University of St. Augustine, where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, with an emphasis in orthopedics. Her specialties of interest include geriatrics, orthopedic rehabilitation, and neurological pathologies. Kai joined TruCare Solutions in 2008 and was promoted to Director of Department of Research and Development in 2011. Under Kai’s leadership, TruCare is involved in an IRB approved Research Project with the University of Houston, Human Performance Department, to assess the effectiveness of Low Frequency Vibration as it relates to improved strength and balance. Kai also oversees the tracking of clinical outcome performance for TruCare’s clinical staff interventions. This process is critical to ensure that TruCare Solution’s clinical staff are always improving on the currently used clinical protocols as they relate to clinical outcomes and ”best of practice” approaches.
